FAQ

How often does Vultyr check service status?

On Mac: as often as every minute (configurable). On iPhone: every 5 minutes while the app is open. iOS also performs periodic background checks when conditions allow.

Can my Mac send notifications to my iPhone?

Yes! When your Mac detects a status change, it pushes the update via iCloud to all your other devices automatically. Just make sure iCloud is enabled — no setup needed.

Why do some services say "Link only"?

Some services don't have a public status API. For these, Vultyr links directly to their official status page so you can check manually. Services with APIs show live status, components, and incident details automatically.

Does Vultyr collect my data?

No. All data stays on your device. No accounts, no servers, no tracking. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I sync my services across devices?

Enable iCloud Sync in Settings. Your watched services, starred items, and order will sync across iPhone and Mac.

Can I request a new service?

Yes! Email support@vultyr.app with the service name and its status page URL.

What are the theme options?

System (default), Green Phosphor, or Amber Phosphor. Change it in Settings.
